Update Note

3w/3 Optimizing

Hello, I'm Seungcheol Lee from SuitdiO. A third of March has already passed. Why does time fly so fast when we're busy... ๐Ÿ˜ญ

So far, I've conducted usability tests with 4 people. After seeing ideal customer behavior, it became more painful to watch users drop off due to usability issues before experiencing the service's core value. Therefore, instead of developing new features, I prioritized improving the usability of basic functions.

Before our CBT on March 21st, I want to make users feel the service's value without any explanation. We're also recruiting teammates to create even more explosive growthโ€”please reach out if you're interested ๐Ÿ™‡โ€โ™€๏ธ

Improve ๐ŸŒฑ

Improved Rendering Speed โšก๏ธ

  • Optimized board loading time from the previous 3-7 seconds to under 2 seconds

  • Slightly improved the issue where performance slowed with many widgets

Create Text Widgets with Double-Click ๐Ÿ’ž

  • SuitdiO designs usability by separating customer hand positions:

    1. When both hands are on the keyboard

    2. When one hand is on keyboard, one on mouse

Various Board Views on Main Page ๐Ÿฅณ

  • Boards previously shown as lists can now be sorted and filtered

  • You can now see board hierarchical structure

Google Login Added ๐Ÿ”’

  • You can now sign up with your Google account

  • Google account basic information is now reflected in profiles

Bug Fix ๐Ÿœ โ€ฆ

  • Fixed Group2Board creation errors

  • Fixed widget position changes after grouping

  • Fixed issue where topics and conclusions couldn't be entered

  • Fixed center alignment error when text became long

  • Fixed markdown paste issue in AI input field

๐Ÿ‘‹ Closing Thoughts

I conducted usability tests with an AI researcher offline and a corporate strategic planning team member online. In both tests, I successfully conveyed the core value. Internally, we assess that we've achieved 'minimum' usability.

Of course, there wasn't only positive feedback. Negative feedback dominated, especially from practical perspectives. I gained new insights about research data security issues, research data capacity problems, service adoption failure cases, and reporting systems and practices.

I believe satisfaction with the service actually created concerns about adoption, and I'm determined to elevate the service to a level where it can quickly receive testing/certification.

AI Researcher, 27, Male

  • Seems useful for research topic selection, experiment design, and paper structure writing. However, PDF and Word file support would be needed for practical use

  • Actually wants to use it for organizing studied content. Would use if integrated with iPad or GoodNotes app

  • Difficult to introduce to current lab due to some research data leakage issues and excessive data capacity problems

  • Reluctant to use if paid, but plans to use if free

Corporate Strategic Planning Department, 30, Male

  • Used mind mapping services paid but stopped due to inconvenience. Would definitely use if frameworks could be easily imported

  • Recently using AI for report writing and strongly empathizes with AI's inconvenient usability. Would definitely use if AI chat could utilize designed structures

  • Uses PPT for internal presentations, so changing practices would be difficult. Actually doesn't use any special software internally

  • Plans to pay even if charged, though the difference between free and paid features matters

Additionally, there's happy news. Choolee, the ideal customer from our previous test, has joined the team. While not the development/design talent we've been waiting for, they'll calmly manage team Growth and handle global operations. I'm even more excited about future synergies.

March is also a month when many projects and tasks conclude. I wish everyone reading this good results in all your endeavors.

SuitdiO will continue pushing forward. Thank you.
